HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN WRITING?
Since I was old enough to hold a pen. My mother says I was making up lyrics to all of her songs when I was only 2 years old and made lyrics that rhymed. She used to put me in front of her friends (who I'm sure were inwardly rolling their eyes) and make me perform verbally. Since I was kinda shy, I learned to write pretty darned fast, since if it was written, I didn't have to stand up in front of anyone to say it out loud.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE THING TO WRITE?
I really enjoy writing poetry, but there isn't a lot of money in it. So I write poetry for myself and for friends sometimes daily. But in reality, it doesn't matter what I am writing - so long as my brain is engaged and the words are flowing through me - I am pretty happy. Although, I will admit - I'm not always thrilled if I have to write technical non-fiction for tech mags and I don't particularly care to write up Procedure Manuals.

WHAT DO YOU LIKE MOST ABOUT WRITING?
I suppose if you want to know the truth - I think my favorite thing about writing is the creativity and the ability to use my imagination. To express my inner thoughts on paper or on the computer screen - it's like my lifeblood.

HOW OLD ARE YOU?
Sorry - that one is off limits - although I will say: Sometimes I'm 5 years old and other days I'm 105.


WHAT DO YOU LOOK LIKE?
I'm a writer. I can look like anything I feel like jotting down. Let's see... Today I am 5'2'', have sparkly blue eyes, light skin and cherry red flaming hair with pale white streaks. Tomorrow I'm 5'10"" look like Jessica Rabbit and talk with an English accent. And of course on Fridays until Midnight, I am a beautiful black woman with fangs and long straight ebony hair. 

WHO IS YOUR FAVORITE LYRICIST?
Oh - besides myself (giggle)... just kidding. Actually I have some people that I really look up to in this industry and each of them for different reasons or moods. For example: Willie Nelson wrote some amazing lyrics in his time. I'll just list a few that stand out for me: Neil Diamond, Barry Manilow, (don't laugh folks - go read their lyrics), Bob Dylan, Eminem (although he writes hardcore - he's amazing with his flow), Jim Morrison, Jon Lennon, Paul Simon, Phil Collins, Tori Amos, Suzanne Vega, Al  Yankovic (he may be a parody dude but he writes those parodies and he's hilariously great!), South Park Mexican, Nas, and I could  go on and on and on... There are so MANY great songs that it's hard to just pick out a few - cause it really depends on my mood and I LISTEN TO EVERY KIND OF MUSIC - so saying just pick one genre won't work for me.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE GENRE of MUSIC?
I dig Alternative. I (heart) Rock, I enjoy Rap, I hop for Hip-Hop, I snuggle up for Blues, R&B, strum Country, sway to Classical and will listen to ANYTHING just about. No faves - just moods man, moods....


HOW MANY POEMS OR SONGS HAVE YOU WRITTEN?
Are you serious? Dude there are piles and piles and piles around everywhere... I've had like 8 computers since computers came out - and let me tell you every one of them was filled with notes, poems, unfinished novels and so much more that it isn't even funny. Someone ELSE besides me would have to start counting them, cause  I'm not gonna. lols.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE MEAL?
OK ok ok... I like Ribeye steaks with yellow zucchini and a really tasty side dish. Oh - and ANYTHING Bacon. Bacon is da bomb.... I know I know... I am a carnivore - but I totally dig veggies and fruits.


WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE SODA?
Oh dear - I don't want to plug anything here - cause this isn't for adcopy, yanno? But, let's just say I really live on a 12 pack of Dr. Pepper every 3 days.
